Common Name:
This is a rare ascomycete found in fern gullies on wood and the remains of roots which are very wet or under water. The fruiting bodies are divided into a bright yellow, rounded, fertile head and a darker sterile stalk, the height of the whole fruiting body being only 1 or 2 cm.
