Mucronella pendula is a small and delivate pendulous member of the Coral Fungus family. Colonies of these stalked 'stalactites', from 1 to 3 cm. long, may be found on the lower surfaces and in hollows of wet, rotting logs. They are pure white at first but yellow with age.
