Common Name: Vegetable Caterpillar
Another vegetable caterpillar, less often seen than the more common C. gunnii. The fruiting body is divided into a fertile head and a sterile stalk. The club shaped, minutely granular, greyish stroma is attached to underground larva or pupa.
