This jelly-like fungus is found as small pinkish to pale violet discs or cushions, sometimes with a short stalk, growing in clusters on rotting rotting branches or trunks lying on the ground, as well as on the stumps of various trees in temperate forests and cool, wet rainforest. Common Name: None

• Fruiting body
  5-10 (20) mm, spherical when young, then pyramidal to cup-shaped or disk-shaped, also cushionlike. Sometimes irregularly undulating, or with central depression. Pink to pale violet, smooth.

• Fertile surface
  Smooth to somewhat wrinkled, pink to violet-pink (similar to outer surface), margin sometimes darker. Flesh gelatinous.

• Stipe/stem
  Stalkless or with very short stalk.

• Smell
  Not distinctive.

• Spores
  Spore print not known. Spores hyaline.

• Habitat
  Found in temperate forests and cool, wet rainforest growing on rotting branches or trunks lying on the ground, as well as stumps of various trees.
