Common Name: Green Dermocybe
Literally: sea-coloured skin-head from the south. (Derma [Gr.] - skin; kybe [Gr.] - head; auster [L.] - southern, i.e. Australasian; venetus [L.] - sea-coloured.) A medium-sized fungus with a satiny-green cap and yellow stem with distinctive rusty brown fibres half way along stem.
